Ok, I'm running windows vista on my macbook pro using boot camp. It's been fine for months, and then just today I find my CDROM drive stops working.
Nothings coming up under my computer, and nothing comes up when I put a disc in.
I get this in the device manager "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
Now I am aware this problem has been posted already here
http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com...t-working.html
But none of those solutions work and I find its harder for me to fix as its on a macbook with mac keys, and so on and so forth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S I checked the manufacturer and it just said microsoft corporation.
Heres an image of my device manager:

Ignore the CD CLONEDRIVE thingy, thats just a program I have that relies on my CDROM thing to be working for it to work.
