Program Files (x86)

I know there is a solution to this problem just not entirely sure.

So i'm a neat freak and want all my programs in Program Files, I want to be rid of this x86 folder entirely. I'm sure all it will take is a few registry changes but i'm not about to go prodding around in there. If anyone knows exactly which strings to modify please tell me.
