File Won't Delete from Desktop!

Help! I downloaded a TV show torrent Tuesday, and now I'm unable to delete it. I was able to copy it to my flash drive, but not move it. I tried copying it to My Videos folder, but it didn't copy. Whenever I try to delete it, it just says "Calculating time remaining" and doesn't move past that. I've restarted and retried many times, but nothing. I deleted other torrents and they deleted just fine, so I know its just this one file thats screwy. And this file is only 100+ MB compared to the others i deleted that were 700+ mb. Help! I hope it's not a virus of some sort.

Hi, right click on the folder, security and give yourself ownership of the folder and full permissions.

That will work only if you have permisions to do so. Vista is so over the top with permissions.

go to start, type in search "mscofig" then press enter click on "tools scroll down to disable uac ,click on launch in the right hand corner.
done no more
anoying popups etc.

now scroll up and select "computer management" then click on lanch (wait 1min or so) on the left click on local users and groups then double click on users, find your username right click then click on properties then click on member of , if your not already an administrator you might want to make your self one by selecting administrator from the list.this worked for me =)
