Smile HELP...Video Accelerator

I just bought a vaio windows vista and I restore the originally shipped version because of problem in starting the windows.I did it the second time which was succesful. Now I encountered another problem when turning it on again so I started it in safe mode and did the diagnostic test everything is working except for the video. The video test #'s 1, 2 & 3 failed and it says to verify that the hardware accelerator is set to maximum value. Please help me I'm desperate I simply don't how to do it or where to go to set it to maximun value. HElP....

Can you go to device manager and see if you have a yellow ! in any hardware profiles. Can you also post your hardware model for the Vaio.
