Unhappy USB Hard drive with Vista

ok so I'm new to Vista...
i have a USB hard drive (500gb) that I use to keep all my documents in

one time i was being curious and decided to give permissions to certain users... ( i am the administrator and main user of this computer)
now I can't access the drive... but no folder and files...etc...

I tried doing alot of this... changing permissions, owners, sharing folders, etc....

I just want to take that "special permission" or whatever stuff off... and want to access my stuff...
I keep getting access is denied...
can ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!... i tried doing it myself for days with no luck!!!!!

Hi, Right click on the disk and in properties you need to take ownership of the drive. Once you have you then need to give your self full permissions to the drive. Then tick the box replace permissions on all child objects.
