Annoying desktop backgrounds!!!

I was searching the net and came across a desktop wallpaper that i thought was kinda funny, so i made it my background. unfourtunately i now find it annoying and want to get rid of it. But it has been stored on the list of backgrounds in the controll panel of my windows xp 2000. i have tried everything i no (unfourtunately thats not very much) but i cant get rid of it. is it possible to delete it.

With Vista you can use Dreamscene which can make your desktop background move (but only available with Ultimate).
