High CPU Usage but low RAM Usage

Hi,

I've just bought a new PC with Windows Vista and 2GB Ram, on the Windows gadgets part of Vista i have a CPU and RAM usage meter. Whenever i run a program such as Football manager 2008 or i am burning a DVD my CPU usage goes to 100% yet my RAM usage stays at nearly always 47%.

Surely my brand new PC shouldnt be pushed to the limits by just 1 running program or a Burning DVD?

Any tips would be appreciated.

hmm.. my ram is always high and my cpu usage is always around 50...

those meters aren't always accurate. Have you noticed if your computer lags when you do those things?
