can't delete folder

OS windows vista 32
i have a folder from my old windows. after i installed vista i deleted folder "windows old" but 1 folder left and i cant delete it.
i moved it to my desktop but every time i try to delete it it sayasthis: "Could not find this item. This folder is no longer located in C:\users\name\desktop. Verify the item's location and try again."
