Hanging problem

Hello I am a new member using window vista and had some weird hanging problem in normal mode.I am able to use internet and open alot of files only in safe mode . But when i use in normal mode , my computer just keep hanging i can move my mouse but i can't click anything at all.I tried to open task mananger but everything turn black . I waited for 2 hours but still nothing happen . I had to force shut down as my com has hanged.
I tried system restore but nothing had happen . Anyone could find out what is the problem with my computer ??? I really hope i can use my computer in normal mode
I really don't know much about computer hope somebody could explain

hmm the problem and solution didn't work out . no problem was found . someone also had said it was shell extention .but didn't work out well . i have decided to call home services repair thanks for spending your time to help out
