Exclamation How to downgrade DX10 to DX9?

I need just the information of how to downgrade it as I couldn't find anywhere else how to. I need it in order to run GTA SA normally, otherwise it makes it around 5-10 fps which is impossible to play.. dont ask me if my drivers are updated, no im not stupid i update them everytime there is an update, dont ask me about processor because i tried everything wont help, also dont ask about video card RAM etc. I play GTAIV on it.. i contacted Rockstar they recommended me to downgrade DX, how do i do that?

Hi, you can not downgrade Directx 10 in Vista as it is part of the OS. As you would know this is a game for Vista. Can you please post your computer specs including:
Memeory
Graphics card model
CPU model
Motherboard model

exactly GTA SA is NOT for Vista it's for XP, so i am having trouble, and i said i can run GTA IV and Crysis Warhead so there is no need of telling you my specs... PC is brand new and it's from dell so i didnt screw up with the hardware my vista is 64 bit which is also not compatible with 32 bit game, even changing the start mode of the game (to run as on windows xp) will not help, i tried

4 gigs
quad 2 core
ATI HD 512
1TBHD

Hi, the only thing you can do is create a dual boot system with XP if you have it.

lol i also have a windows vista home premium 64 bit and gta sa . dont do the dual boot thing you can install dx9 without harming dx10. i have both dx9 & dx10 on my comp and can run gta sa with no problems.Make a restore point before installing just in case anything goes wrong!!!!!!!
