Mixcraft sound problem

hey i have acoustica mixcraft 4.0. I downloaded the latest version as a free trial and after little bit the sound stopped working. I uninstalled it and then got a registered version of 4.0 but the sound problem still persists. I have tried updating drivers and still nothing. EVERTHING works on the software perfectly, it's just the sound will not play through speakers, headphones, etc. The most agrivating thing is that it works on other accounts on my computer, just not mine (the admin!!!). Any ideas of how i can fix this? And yes, I'm not an idiot. I've checked to see if it could be accidentally muted or the volume just shut off!!!! This has been going on for months!! Any ideas and help would be awesome!!!! To repeat, everything else works with the software, it's just as if it's all muted. Thanks again!
