tried everything I could... and still no sound..

i currently have an Acer Aspire 5315(yea.. not the greatest laptop in the world) and am having major sound issues.. Ive tried everything to get my sound to work such as uninstalling it and reinstallin it from the acer website. My laptop even says all my audio devices are working properly when looking under the device manager but still have absolutely no sound even when tryin to adjust the volume. So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas or other suggestions i could use to quite possible get my sounds to work... thanks
