upgraded from xp to vista ultimate and now no sounds

hi,anyone please help me i have upgraded from xp to vista ultimate. now no sound and i want to use vista because i love it.plz any1 help me i will b very thankfull,no sound i can only see spdif playback its seems working but no sound at all

hi, I am assuming your sound is on the motherboard, meaning yor don't have a sound card. If this was built for you, find out the mane of the motherboard and model( example--asis or gigabyte). then go to their site and try to find the drivers for sound there. If this is a Dell, hp, or other brand , go to that site and look for the model( or better put in the serial #)See if the have sound d Good luck drivers for vista. good luck Qfisheye
