Help

HI My son switched my comp off at the mains and now it wont start up, a screen comes up asking me to start in safe mode/ last good config/ normally ect but when I press any of these it reboots then does the exact same. Any idea,s please.

It might help if you state which system you are running.

If you know how to boot to floppy disk then try running scandisk or chkdsk from the c:\windows folder or the A: drive if either of these files are on your boot disk.

If all that sounded to technical don't worry just state what version of windows you are running and users might be able to supply step by step instructions.
