i need help

hi can anyone help me.
when i turn on my computer through windows xp home edition my screen goes to low resolution 640 x 480 each time.i change it 2 high resolution eack time.i apply and ok it each time.can anyone help me so it doesnt do this each time.

hey man

windows XP a recovery try to turn it of make the changes you need to make and turn recovery back on!

to turn of recovery
go to start
control panel
system tabawhere you see recovery turn it off
and do the same to turn it on!

right click the my computer icon, or start menu link, select properties, then click the hardware tab, then the device manager, do you have a yellow ! or ? next to anything? your video driver may need reinstalled, rolled back if you updated, or updated due to a software conflict with a new program.
