Angry Computer Nag (long)

Hello,

I'm, a Microsoft Windows XP Home user, and I have been playing around with the, multi user option that allows you to have seperate folders, (this option is available in all versions of windows).

My, computer is for private use, and is intended for me only, but I having assigned two other folders in an temp to organize my computer's programs in groups.

I, have run into well I guess you could call it a problem, when its really annoyience.

I, have set my computer up so when I; boot, up you get the welcome login screen (Windows calls it the Welcome screen).

For, some reason my system tryes to sign into my main desktop, which has a password but is unble to do it.

I, get the below message.

" The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are currect, and then type your password again. Letters in the password most be typed using the correct case."

This, is going to sound wierd; I, don't want to fix it so that it automaticly signs in.

I, would like to fix it, so that this annoying screen won't come up and it; will, just give me the welcome screen, and wait for me to come and log myself in.

I, have looked into my network settings, to see if it maybe the network trying to connect itself but, it does not look like it.

"My, computer is connected to the internet by; a, home network"

Thanks, for all your help I'm sorry my message was so long; I, wanted to make sure I provided enough information.

It sounds like you have another account that is trying to log on automatically with the wrong password/username. Delete or disable all accounts not in use.
Do you mean you connect to the net via another machine on your network?

Yes

Yes, my computer is connected through a phoneline network which, connects to a host computer which serves out the ip addresses and connection, information to the rest of the network.

I, am trying to organise my computer programs, in groups so its easier to get around, and one desktop is not so crowed with all these icons, making it confusing.

So, to create what i'm going for I, made two seperate folders to list and install differant programs, for differant tasks. These folder and add-ons of my main desktop.
