Unhappy Hyper threading not enabled

Hi All,

Can you help with my problem at all?

I recently bought an Intel D865PERL motherboard and also a 3.2gb 800 FSB Northwood processor, but when running my computer in Windows XP(Software sandra), tells me that Hyperthreading is not working ''Warning W234 - You are using a Hyper-Threaded system on an Operating System that either does not support HT or does not support the total number of logical CPUs of the system. Thus Hyper-Threading is not properly utilised. You may as well disable it.'' Do i need to do an update or something?

Im running Win XP , and and it says its Enabled in the BIOS but its not!! Boo Hoo

Contact your nearest pc shop via phone and tell them the problem cause if there as helpful as PLE computers down here in Aussie they should be able to help you with the problem.

just cuz SISSandra does not report it does not mean it does not work !! I would try other software packages,,, I was looking at some of the reviews on Hyper threading and I see this one:

looks like your kind of CPU and board... I have played around with some other software similar to SIS Sandra but I don't recall it now.....
try this one see what it reports:
