Computer Wont boost, just restarts

When I turn on my computer , starts going through the post test and it seems as it is done the computer just restarts itself over and over. The only way I can get it to do anything is to reset cmos. I check all the settings and it does the same thing.

My computer is:

Msi neo2 P mother board
P4 3.02 HT
1G MEM
MSI Geforce 5650 GC
80 gig
dvdr/w
c r/w

Any ideas?

my computer used to do that.

it gets past the xp loading screen and the testing and all of a sudden you hear the fans and the cd drive running, WHOA it just restarted!! lol

you have either a horribe terrible virus or..somethings wrong with the file system or what not..

my suggestion to you is to just recover or reformat.

get a boot disc there maybe it'll help

Also check and make sure your power supply and cpu fans are running. Could be powering down if they're shot. Couls also be a bad ram. Not enough memory to run windows.

What you describe sounds like the you are infected with the Blaster Worm (virus.
