I had to format & reinstall WinXP due to numerous problems. I first manually backed up my business files with iomega "the works" option. Xp installed good. However, after reinstalling my iomega 700MB USB Zip drive, I no longer have bkup or restore options to restore my data. I can read/write the drive ok. Iomega support keeps giving me the run around. I installed the latest iomegaware and iobackup.html they suggested to no avail. I still can't find backup/restore (the works, 1step backup, 1 step restore, etc.) on my start menu or in c/prog files/iomega, or by right clicking on the drive. Where can I get this SW which I downloaded (with iomega support help) approx. 3 years ago? How do I do future backup and restores without using a simple drag-n-drop? My machine is a 2Ghz, 512MB Ram, Win XP, iomega 750 MB USB

What did you exactly backup ? is there anything on the backup tape that you could access ?

Regarding backup software for future. Two of the well know backup software company are CA (Computer associate) who have ArcServ and Veritas Backup Exec, these two software are very nice and work well how ever it have so many corks and bell /whistles that would not be suitable for small business plus they cost and arm and a leg (including first born).

I would suggest to get a external USB 2.0 drive (as big as you can get, perhaps 160 Gig) , they run around $300 and you can take it home with you every night for safety reason. You wouldn't need a third party software to operate that.
