xp wouldn't detect my 2nd cd

I'm using XP Pro with lastest updated and using lite-on cd-r. when I put 1st disc in the drive, it's ok. but when I put the other disc in the drive. It's unable to read the 2nd disc. It still showing the 1st disc data. So I'm unable to install any program which have 2 discs. I have to restart my computer to read the 2nd disc. Can anyone help me please? Thanks.
