Windows Only Starts In Safe Mode

Hey all-
I'm having a bit of a problem. I am running XP (obviously) and it as of this morning will only start in safe mode. I've tried going through the F8 startup menu and went through each one of the options (start windows normally, go back to last known normal startup, etc.) Any suggestions as to how to get my computer to not start in safe mode!!?!??! It's so frustrating!

I regularly update my computer with virus definitions and windows updates.

Thanks!
Ktrubin

When's the the last time you did a full virus scan? Just updating the Def's, etc. doesn't make everything safe.
