XP - shlwapi.dll is possibly corrupt

I am using Pentium III Windows XP. One day I got an automatic update from Microsoft and I got an error message stating the following.

"STOP: c0000221 (Bad Image Checksum)
The image SHLWAPI.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum."

My computer was working fine until I got the automatic update that I am not sure what it is. Now, I can not use my computer at all. This error message is showing up on the screen and I need help badly. Thanks.
