shift key problem in games

Hi there

Im on XP professional. I have recently upgraded my system and am having the following problem.

Around windows explorer everything is fine but when I play games I have a problem with my shift key which seems to get disabled when another key is pressed simultaneously.


For example, SHIFT = DUCK, ARROW = MOVE

With these keys bound I could not duck+move at the same time.
I could duck fine but while ducking and pressing another key, in this case the arrow key, I would stand untill the arrow key was released.

Its like my keys are overiding my shift key.

Sorry mate only thing i can think of is unbind key settings in the game and choose your own.

Have you disable sticky keys?

Control panel -> Accessibility -> uncheck all from the first tab.

if you pop up your keys like take the shift button off and then when it comes upclean underneath the key and do theat to rest of the keys that are not working if that dosent work get a new key board for $5.00 its the least you can do at least your have a new shiny key board.
