Home page loading question again

Yahoo IS my homepage, it loads when I click home, great.
My problem is I want it (yahoo homepage) to load when I log on without having to click home. I set up my girlfriends windows 98 to do this automatically when she clicks connect it goes to Yahoo. I have XP home edition. Any help?
Thanks

Open your browser. Go to http://www.yahoo.com. Click Tools, Internet Options and click use current in the Home Page section of the General tab. It should load Yahoo everytime you launch your browser after that. If not, and it goes to someother page, you might have some sort of adware/spyware installed. If that is the case, go to www.lavasoft.de and download Ad-Aware.

In addition to jeffrow's comments, dl Spybot S&D, CWShredder and HijackThis: -

Spybot S&D also has the ability to lock the Hosts file as read-only in order to prevent further browser hijack attempts.

Install them, update them, regularly, and run Spybot S&D and CWShredder every day.

IRO HijackThis, run it and post your log in the following forum and somebody will look at it and advise you accordingly, re: browser hijacks, spyware, adware, malware, etcetera.

It would also do no harm to dl, install, update accordingly, and run the following free apps as well: -

And do not forget, always utilize a quality AV and Firewall, both properly configured and updated at all times, as well as scanning your pc with an on-line scanner, as some virii are designed to disable your installed AV.

A NAT enabled Firewall router, combined with all of the above, would be even better. An ounce of prevention is worth more that a pound of cure.
