runtime error :(

Hi,

Was kinda bored one day, so i thought...y not learn to program in C++, so the programmer in me decided to install it and see what i can do with it.
Unfortunatley the programmer in me has not been able to fix an error that is the result of me installing C++!!

Basically, when i go on the internet...i often get the following error message..


Microsoft Visual c++ runtime library
program: c:\programfiles\InternetExplorer\explorer.exe
abnormal program termination


at which point i click on OK and IE terminates, this only happens on some websites not all.

I tried uninstalling C++, but this has made no difference whatsoever!!

Now i wish, the programmer in me never existed


Any help will be much appreciated!!

This really is odd. I would try doing a system restore if I were you.

P.S. never give up on the programmer within!

thnx for the advice

but i'd prefer to actually find the problem itself and to quote george bus "root it out" (the problem, that is).

Anyway, i ran some searches on google for this error and apparantly a lot of people have had the same problems (normally posters on other forums) however, no one has given a decent response to actually fix the error.

Still looking for a solution!! GO GOOGLE!!

lol, the programmer within isnt much of a programmer anyway...i wouldnt b giving up on much .
