changing default folder view options..

Could anyone point me as to how i can change the default folder views? ideally i would like to set artist, album, year, title, etc instead of having size, year, etc.... I manage of course to change them once having opened the file but once i close it they return to the default...

Thanks anybody!

You can add or delete columns (in detail view) by right-clicking any of the column headers and selecting (from the drop-down list) which columns you want to be displayed.

folder saving

There is a setting that allows all folder views to be the same. By default, windows XP displays all folders individually, so that when you make changes to one folder, and open another, the default settings return.

Try changing this in windows explorer, tools/options, then view folder. remove the check box from the remember each folders view settings. Then make your changes, open another folder, etc. That should do it.
