The torch may mean that there is so much in the folder it is having problems searching it all.

In Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > General - Temporary Internet Files - Settings > Amount of Disk Space to use ??

Just above the slider bar is the Location of your Temporary Internet Files Folder, use Explorer to go to one level above the Temporary Internet Files Folder > Right Click the Temporary Internet Files Folder > Properties ??

Post back the settings and a more informed decision can be made.

6 Gb is a bit on the large size.

What is the actual size of the folder?
