Home Page in Internet Explorer

Hello!

Quite a few colleagues of mine have the Home Page in Internet Options configured to go to a porn site.
Unfortunately, this area is grey now and can't be changed. I have tried running Ad-Aware, I've looked in the registry where the home page is set to the company's and i have even tried doing a System Restore.

Since I am out of ideas, I was hoping someone could help me out =)

As usual, any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
/Johan

Where in registry did you look ?
Do you have rights to change registry entry ?
Does your computer logs in to a domain server?
have you tried a software called Spy Sweeper ?

Ad-Aware WAS a good software a while back (some people may disagree with me) but it lost its touch and it does not do as good of job as other software like spy sweeper does.

in registry look under:
HKEY_CUrrent_User\software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

and change the Home page.

cheers

Company computer. Why do you think the option has been greyed out? Obvious to me, however, apparantly not to you. I would hate to think how much malware, spyware, etcetera is on your network.
