Windows Start-up
I use a Windows XP os, and I was wondering how do I start the cpu in BIOS? It seems that one day my comp just shut down and turned off my sound card. I thought I was supposed to hold down tab or home key before the "XP" screen came up...but no to no avail. Any one know how to?

The key command to get into BIOS depends on who made your computer (Dell, HP, Gateway, Toshiba, etc). Who made yours?

Try F1 and F2 together.

I just found this:
"To enter the BIOS Setup Screen, press the F1 key just after you have turned on power to your PC while the Hewlett-Packard logo is on the blue screen, but before the system begins to start Windows."
or, try calling HP tech support.
