Slows Down When Printing

Any thoughts......

I have a P4 with 256M ram, XP Pro and a lexmark 3200 printer. Anytime I'm printing, the system comes to a halt! I can't even scroll through or view a web page until it's through printing...

Any ideas would be appreciated,

It is not a problem

. This happens with all computers and printers.
