Re-format Admin Password Wont accept
Decided to format my C drive again!!!
but everytime i get to typing the admin password in, on the MS dos exe via the boot on startup boot disk, the password is always invalid....
I have the password correct!!! it is the admin passowrd coz i am it, i have taken off the password just to see i it works still no luck, i have tried to just press enter with no password input, as a last resort....ino caps lock/numlock capitals the shit,
the admin password is the user account password for the adminustrator right??? im confused by this.....
Please help, i know how to do the rest, but thsi hic-up is stopping me......

Some things to remember.
1. Admin's user account is "Administrator"
2. The caps-lock key is your enemy!
3. Sometimes things get a little wild when you're installing any Microsoft OS. Are you SURE you're using the correct password?
And when all else fails...

Use it for only good.

Ching, I think you are mis-understanding the difference between reformatting which is a clean install and recovery install,,, the only time Windows XP installation will ask you for the Admin password is when you select recovery install. Get you head together, have a coffee instead of a beer and read the link that was provided by "Azn_tweaker" ,, Installing Windows XP is easier than you think,, you just have to select the right options and that requires reading the options.
cheers

Okay.....but i have tried everything.....every posible way to format the drive. Forget the recovery thingy i know that now, i have read the links, i have read every article there is on formating but every posible way or procedure i chose thers always an error, im not ingnorant to the information out there ive looked everywhere, an i all i get is Links to web sites that i have read too many times....
I cannot clean install XP.....U do this threw booting up the XP disk on startup correct???
U press enter on the Welcome to windows screen for the install option correct???.....almost straight after that, i get an error, blue screen of death that means i must restart the computer, i get to NO! liscence agreemnet thingy, just the blue screen, so there is no way i can re-install XP or attempt it....Coz there is an error for every thing i try....an its really starting to piss me off....I dswear if i ever meet a hacker, or nerdy virus teenager ill cut their fingers of so they cant be doing ti again.....

Now we talking real information , thanks, lets trouble shoot your problem...
Possibility for BSOD are a lot and you have to start eliminating them. Start removing hardware from your system such as NIC and Modem, USB card if you have one, unplug the second drive if you have one.... if you have more then one stick of RAM then remove one of them... take the cover off the tower and see if the CPU fan is running (Over heating could cause the BSOD too)... If you have a extra Stick of RAM replace with the one that are in the system.... Let's start the installation once again...
cheers
p.s: did not mean to offend you

no offense taken. its jus one thing after another, wanted to re-install XP, coz i didnt want to format, but had to in the end but found i cant!!!
KNow wat i mean.....
Okay ive removed the modem, iuse a USB ADSL WAN adapter to coonect to the internet.....so the modem 56k is not needed....what else....what if non of this works an im left with no graphics card sound card.....the shit.....I dont want to remove the WAN adapter coz i wil not be able to get on the net, could that be the problem, its an exteranl peice of hardware, would remving the USB plugin before PC startup help atall.....What exactly does this error mean most importantly....an i really have never explored in the tower of my PDC b4 so ill only do that if its absoulutley! neccessary.....

As I said before, there are lots of possibility for that error and there not such thing as silver bullet solution for it, you have to explorer your options and try new ideas (that what I was suggesting)
I think I have found something relevant to your issue:
Stop - 0x0000008E:

uh god i gotta go threw the computers inside, what if the memory is faulty with either slot sticks. New memory???
So let me just recap....
1) Turn computer off......
2) OPen tower up locate memory. I have 256, remove one stick of this (if it is 2 ) restart the computer....try setup then....
3) Install bla bla im pretty knowledgable on installing it now lol.
When i remove the memory, i put it back in after XPs installed???Will it work then, or wil i need to get the drivers....where are the drivers to install this memory again.....i take that my memory is faulty then.....how??? over worked??? virus??? anyway i can fix it??? new stick???? uh god so many questions.....OPening the computer is probably the only thing i dont know much about when it comes to computerz.....
