email hyperlinks on web pages not opening

Every time I click on an email hyperlink on a web page it opens a window which should be my email sending window but instead it opens the entire page I am on in that window. Almost like I am re-opening the page I am currently on in a new window when it should be my send new email page where their email address is in my to box.
What is going on? Usually it is on email hyperlinks that have a send email Icon that you click on instead of the person`s visible email address.

Any thoughts?

If you follow the link below it will take you to a list of companies which when you click on one of the company links, it will take you to a page where it gives their company information and a Contact This Exhibitor link at the bottom of the page.
The link is a picture graphic with a hand pointing to a Contact this exhibitor icon at the bottom left of that page.

When I click on the email hyperlink, it opens a seperate new window but the window is just a duplicate of the current page I am on instead of an email page to send an email to that company.

Basically if you are on this web page of this forum and there is an email link on it to contact someone and you click on the link, in the new window that pops up it just duplicates this page we are on instead of opening your email window.

Maybe something with my email? We are currently using Incredimail as our email server. One of our computers works fine and the link works when you click on it but this computer does not and they are both the same exact systems as each other.

Sorry for rambling.

Thank you for the reply and I really appreciate the help.

it opened the second window on my computer also, but it also opened the new mail message screen behind that window. Maybe that's what is happenning? That's what it did when I clicked on Contact this Exhibitor.

I tried numerous 'Contact this Exhibitor' and not one of the links worked!

If in fact they are supposed to be email links.

There is nothing wrong with your system setup, if the link is supposed to be an email link it is a badly written site.
