Cannot Access Mpeg Files

Hello, I need help. I have some mpeg movies I captured and can no longer access them. Originally I created a temp folder in my H: drive and placed them in there. It was getting messy, so I created folders 1- for original mpeg, 2- edited mpegs. Soon after I created and moved the files I was no longer able to access them. Here are the programs I was using to view/edit/convert the files.

Windows Media Player 9 - when viewing those files I get this error message.
Windows Media Player cannot access the file.
0xC00D11D2: Cannot access the file

Mpeg-VCR - when opening those mpeg file I get this message
<H:\TEMP\Original Wedding Files\pablito.mpg>:cannot open to read.

MyDVD - when importing those files I get this error message
"Could not complete the following command because: Access Denied (fileErr, -16000)"

I tried other tools with no luck (TMPGEnc, Gspot).I captured some new footage and saved it to the default location (H:Temp) and was able to view/edit/convert the file using the above programs. I hope you guys can help since I have spent hoursssss capturing and editing those mpeg files. I am running Windows XP SP1 with all the latest XP/Critical updates. I have a P4 2.4 GHz, 2 hard drives with 2 partitions each C: D: G: H: drives. I believe it as something to do with the registry, from reading other post about not been able to delete mpeg files. Any suggestions would be helpful. I not familiar with registry editing/hacking. Thank you in advance for your help.

Can you copy a couple of the files to another location and see if you can access them from there

Are you logged in as Administrator?

What is the Share status of the drive?

Under Administrator, could not open the folders were the mpeg files are located. I received this message.

H:\Temp\"Folder Name" is not accessible
Access is denied

I not sure about the share status, I right mouse click on the drive, properties and under security tab I gave all users full access.

mpeg

I presume you can't access the original folder. Just one question, when you edited them, did you change the file names? It may not be relevant but both the sound file and the video file should be exactly the same. I use these a lot and have never had this happen.
