I Go to install a game and it goes on with its install then right...Please Help

I Go to install a game and it goes on with its install then right after the installation screen, a setup screen pops up right after the installation screen saying registering fonts then it freezes.....What is the problem and how can it be fixed?

I have same XP on this comp and I have never seen that before.

I did restart/rebooted many times,search for the programs and checked my fonts nothing worked..... My other comp. that is having the problems is not connected to the internet,is this a problem?

plus I tried installing blue clues ABC time and it tells me not an valid win 32 app....How can I fix that or can I?
