Problem opening pictures

I have just recently encountered problems opening pictures with Adobe Photoshop 7. When I right click on my picture file and pull up the "open with" menu, Adobe Photoshp 7 does not appear on the list of options. I then try using the "browse' function, locate the Adobe 7 program and select it. At that point the "open with" options window opens again and I am never redirected to Photoshop. I have also tried right clicking on my picture file, clicking properties and trying to change the "open with" command, but I encounter the same problem.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback!

If you always want to use Photoshop for that particular file type use the 'File Association' in Explorere.

With Explorer open > Tools > Folder Options > File Types > Scroll to the file type > click on the file type > Change > Select the Program from the list or browse to the program > OK etc

Now all you need to do is double click the file for it to open with your selected application.
