Changing Wallpaper for only ONE user?

Hi all- I'm sure I'll feel dumb when someone tells me the answer for this one...

I recently set up a laptop with XP Home that my daughter and I share. Up till now all my machines have only been one-user workstations, so I've never needed to bother with Admin Accounts vs. User Accounts and such...

My situation is that I own the Admin account and she has a Limited account. She can change her desktop settings and has her own set of unique desktop icons, etc. The problem is hat she's 12 and chooses the most GAWD AWFUL wallpaper for her desktop, and when I log in as the Admin her wallpaper choice carries over to my account and vice versa.

According to the XP Help files, I should be able to "change the look and feel of any desktop without affecting the settings of another user's desktop". Does tis not apply to wallpaper? If you're supposed to, where is the setting that makes wallpaper changes only apply to that user's desktop? I've checked all over and Searched the forums but can;t seem to find it.

Thanks a million in advance!!

Ok, my guess is that there are three users on your comp:
Administrator(hidden)
Admin(you)
Daughter(***)
with xp when you create more users the real admin file is automatically hidden you can only access this account through safe mode, try to trouble shoot your problem through "safe mode" using the real admin account. Set and reset user account types you can even del and create a new one ifthat is not working. I am stumpted on this one since I have never seen this prob before.

So there's a third account on my PC that's not showing in the Control Panel "User Accounts" section? How do I boot in Safe MOde and where do I check it after I get there? I can do all Admin functions with the current Admin Account. Weird...

While your pc is booting up press f8 after the first beep, right after the first screen which tells you how much ram you have, before the windows xp screen.
You will be given some choices so just choose to bootup in safe mode.
Safe mode is a mode which just boots up generic drivers for you devices it is mainly to trouble shoot your comp, so be advised that your ghapics and fonts will be funky

Is there a chance that the problem could be associated to your profiles, I have never seen this problem before!! I have used both XP Home and XP Pro with multiple users and each user has their own configuration without any effect on the other users, inlcuding wallpapers!!! Why not try to create another profile and see if that works correctly first!!
