Multiple locations, need help

I need to use my new XP Pro laptop at multiple locations with different network settings, drive mappings, and software loaded for each location. I previously used Windows 2000 on my old laptop with Symantec Mobile Essentials to handle my different settings. Does anyone know if Mobile Essentials will work with XP or is there another solution to my problem?
