Minimise/Restore

Recently my comp seems to minimise windows at random to the task bar. and the only way to restore is right click on the taskbar and select restore. it seems to do this with apps that are busy. like if i open 8 web pages at once (in my tabbed browser) it will minimise. And now sometimes i cant restore windows. Any advice would be appreciated
