Angry network neighborhood

When using windows XP on an NT network, there are times when the list of computers in network neighborhood diappears.

They can still be accessed using the IP address or their NETBIOS name.

Has anyone experienced this problem and how can it be resolved?

Add the name of the computers on the network with proper IP address into the HOSTS file. It most probably due to the delay in receiving the list from the master browser... I would look for the setting in Master browser rather then XP machine.

cheers
