Question file folders

I just tried to click on a folder and what opens is the search folder each time. Does anyone know what settings could have gotten changed and how to change them back. Every folder I left click on does the same thing.
Thanks wendyB

Welcome to this Forum.

It seem to me that your SHELL command handler got messed up,, you can get a "clean" copy of the registry entry for your shell command on this link:
http://oldlook.experts-exchange.com:...4.html#9210806

copy the .reg entry and import it into your computer.

cheers
