Modem does not work in toshiba Satellite Pro4600

Hi,
I upgraded windows 2000 to XP and after that, I cant make my modem does not work. Can you help please? I alraedy downloaded the driver for windows XP.

First what is the name of the modem and model. Did you download the correct driver for the exact model number? There are so many that you have to be correct in what you download.

What message does XP give you about the modem? Does it tell you it has found new hardware but may not work properly?

have you directed Xp to were the driver is?

I download the correct driver for the exact model number,


I can not create the access for a telephone conection.

I did not direct Xp to were the driver is, I only instelled the driver for windows xp for the Toshiba modem AMR.
