Lost Windows XP UI!!!? Help

Hello, Today I booted up my computer and I noticed something different... the Windows Xp "Theme" Was totally gone.. It looks like Windows 98 now. SO I right clicked on the desktop/Properties/Appearance. Then to Windows and Buttons... and guess what? Grr Only Windows Classic is there NOTHING else. No option to add or remove windows and buttons either..

I tried system restore to 3 days back and that did not help..

Please help, This is very ugly to look at and hurts my eyes lol.

Right click My Computer chose Manage. On the left open Services and Aplications/Services.

On the Services list on the right make sure the Themes service is running; if not right click Properties and make sure startup type is set to Automatic.

And start the service.

I tried restarting it too.

I too am having the exact same problem, looked into the services, and running fine
