Possible File Type issue

Are you currently trying to use the Windows XP image and Fax viewer to view your jpeg or jpg photo?

Or

Are you saying that each time you want to open any JPEG, JPG photo this program launches automatically and give you the error message that it cannot find the picture you are trying to Open.

IF this is the case you can associated this file type JPEG and JPG with that application.

You can do a file association in Windows Explorer to open Windows XP image and fax viewer each time you want to view
a jpeg or jpg photo.

Right Click on the Windows Start Button
Click Explore
Click Tools
Click Folder option
Click File Type Tab
A list of file types will be listed
Hightlight JPG or JPEG on the list
Click the Open With: Change button
Select the application you wish to open your file type with

If you are looking to stop this program from opening any of your photos then associate the file type with another application that open photos.

Just a thought...

Error message issue

The error message that windows displayed reference that
"Windows cant find the file 'c:\image.jpg'. Please be sure that the path and the file name are correct and try again. To find a file, clic Start and then Find.

This message is telling you that the picture image.jpg is not in your c:\ directory.

Do a file and folder search to locate where this file can be on your computer by doing the following.

Click start button
Click Search
Click All files and folders
Type the name of your file to search: image.jpg
Select your local Drive C:
Click Search
The system will try to locate where this file in your local drive c:
Once it find it look to see which directory it was save to.

IF the file is not on your computer its possible that it was deleted
You can check your recycle bin to see if its there.

Good Luck.. finding file
