Unhappy Appl Error, Memory Could Not be Read

Can someone please help me with this. I got an error message that said the following- "iexplore.exe - Application error, the instructions at "Oxla400db90" referenced memory at "Ox635eeF0". The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate."

I clicked OK... and then I ran AdAware, and Spybot, to check for spyware. I ran Panda and AVG Antivirus programs and I did not have any. I also cleaned out temp. files, and cookies, and history files.

I noticed my computer (XP Pro) running a little slower, but otherwise everything ok. Then two days later (today), I got a message that said something like this, "The memory at Oxla400db90 could not be read." Just that one line, not the full message like the first time. I clicked ok, and now I am wondering why this happened again and what else, if anything, I need to do.

Do I maybe need to post a "hi-jack this" log?? Can anyone help? or is it nothing? thanx so much.
