TV out using XP pro

I have upgraded to XP from ME and find that I have to use both operating systems because I cannot get TV-out to function in XP.

I go to Display in Control Panel and choose TV as my output screen and for 15 seconds I get my screen transferred to TV but then it reverts back to the monitor.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

It sounds like you might have one of those:

"Do you want to accept this setting or revert to your previous setting?"...."will revert in 15...14...13...seconds"

windows up when you select TV-OUT.

Have a hunt to see if it is "hiding" - partially off the edge of the screen - behind another window etc etc.

This is my first thought - especially if it reverts back after EXACTLY the same amount of time on each occasion.
