I Lost My Windows XP Welcome Screen Logon

hi, im using windows XP Pro, and i think this is strange problem. i tried ask ppl from mirc but no1 can help me

last nite i tried to make new account and tried to configure the policies in Group Policy, administrative tools/local policy.

and run the "control userpasswords2"

all i followed from a website, this is the website address:

http://www.markusjansson.net/exp.html

after i did some changes, dunno why i lost my welcome screen logon. until now the logon like windows 2000, must put the username and password (classic logon)

i checked in the control panel/user accounts/change the way users log on or off

Both Welcome screen and fast user switching are Enabled, even i check in the Registry (run:regedit) LogonType and AllowMultipleTSSession are "1"

some i did changes too, about make some folders in my drives strict to new account, so i ppl cant open some folder by logon that new account. (i did this coz many my friends come and use my computer :P)

pls any1 if knows or can solve my problem. i want my "welcome screen logon and fast user switching" back.

coz annoying with this classic logon, i cant use Fast User Switching when to use other account in the same time.

always ask Administrator or that User currently logon to put password (to Unlock Computer) then switch to other account

thanx.

If you create only one account (NOT including the default Admin account) Windows will always boot directly to the Desktop unless you assign a password to any account, in which case the login screen will be shown. Or you can use Tweakui (the XP version) to force the Login screen to appear at boot time.

Send a message via ICQ to VirusEJ
Check the Group Policy Editor and make sure that the option for using Ctrl-Alt-Delete is not turned on.
