hi dieselj i had the same problem i dono if yours was your old floppydisk mine was and it refused to work so i just got another one and its ok but i find that a lot with xp i have the home one one day things work no problem the next they wont my biggest pain is my alcatelspeedtouch boardband modem somedays it shuts off after use of 5 mins somedays u have to discontect the usb then put it on again to cure it and other days it works fine its all very strange i feel theres a big problem with the usb issue with xp a lot of people seem to have prolems with that or is it just me lol anyway i be very grateful if anyone has a clue how to cure it oh i have all the latest drivers on my puter from everyone including alcatel and i have also upgraded my power supply as i thought it may have been that as i am running a amd 1800xp on an aopen motherboard thx for any help siew eng xxx
