Any Internet address that you type into an Outlook message or other item becomes a hotlink that other Outlook users can use to get quickly to that resource.
Just typing an Internet e-mail address (such as
emo@slipstick.com) or
www.microsoft.com does not create a hotlink that Outlook users can click on; you need to use the fully qualified URL with the mailto: or
http:// prefix
IF there is a restriction that stop users from using a hyperlink in an email that will be an interesting find. I did a permission search in outlook that those no mention of hyperlink restrictions in an office enviornment such as a network.
Are you the one creating the hyperlink in your emails or are these hyperlink of emails you received in your inbox?
I have not heard of this problem and would like to know the answer myself.
Good Luck in your research...
