Thought it might be a virus, guess not

I have one for you. I assumed it was a virus, but have scanned locally and online and can't find anything.

Have an email acccount setup in Outlook. Since Thursday, every morning that I launch Outlook or OE, my incoming mail server has changed from pop.domainname.com to 127.0.0.1 and username changed from username to username@domainname.com.

Any clue what might be causing this and a way to correct. It is ok as long as I leave Outlook open, but if I ever close or shut down, then it goes back to 127.0.0.1
