Missing "Shock" File

Hi all,
I downloaded the Shock application, but when I went to install it, I got this error message: "Missing ffolio9w.rar File" and the info says: "You are missing the SHOCK.NFO file!"

Any help as to how I can correct this problem would be great.

Thanks.
-Will

Try downloading again.

Where did you download from?

I tried downloading Shock again, but I still got that same message.

I got Shock from Ares. Is there another place I can get it?

I can't find anyapplications called 'Shock' so cannot help with any other sources.

Because Ares is P2P there is every chance that the download is bad.

Shock is a warez group, not an application. The program you're trying to run sounds like a custom installer coded by them. It's not needed to install whatever it is you're trying to use so long as you have all the files.

NFO files are just text files, so you could just save a blank text file and call it shock.nfo - this usually works with these sort of tools. But you can probably open whatever it is you downloaded with winrar from rarsoft.com.

However, since it says you're missing a .rar file. you probably need that also.
